Within today's lesson we continued to discuss our main idea: considering story line, events and forming a structure. Currently we are still in the position of 'discovering' the story- although we have a general idea, and have set the beginning and end, there is no story in the middle! To help influence and explore possible story lines, we began to freeze frame each scene, thinking about where to introduce characters, how the characters will be developed (will there be main plots? Subplots?) etc.
Personally I feel that in order to develop the story or even find an idea to base our story on, we need to all continue researching! Our initial ideas are good yet there is nothing holding them together. As George suggested we could look back to the play and consider what elements we want to include/ transform - maybe this could be a theme, section of dialogue, character etc.
